OZEV-approved since 2018
Local EV charger installers you can speak to directly
We have been installing home and workplace EV chargers since 2018, when we first became OZEV-approved. In that time, we have fitted hundreds of charging points across Hampshire, Surrey, and Berkshire, on driveways, in garages, on the sides of houses, and in commercial car parks. We know the products, the installation requirements, and the common challenges.
Unlike the national installation companies, who take your enquiry through a call centre, subcontract the work to whoever is available in your area, and leave you dealing with a stranger, we are a local business based in Church Crookham, Fleet. When you call us, you are speaking to someone who can answer your questions directly, arrange a site visit within a week, and carry out the installation personally. We do not subcontract EV charger work to third parties.

Brands we install
The right charger for your car and your tariff
We are approved installers for all major UK EV charger brands. Each has its strengths, and we will help you choose the right one based on your car, your electricity tariff, and whether you have or plan to get solar panels.
-
Reliable all-rounder
Rolec
A solid, reliable UK-made charger. Rolec units are well-built, competitively priced, and straightforward to install and use. A good all-round choice if you do not need advanced smart features.
-
Popular for homes
Hypervolt
A compact, modern design with an excellent app that provides real-time charging data, scheduling, and energy cost tracking. One of the most popular choices for home installation due to its combination of features and value.
-
Best with solar
Zappi (Myenergi)
The smart choice if you have solar panels or plan to install them. The Zappi can automatically divert surplus solar energy to charge your car, maximising your self-consumption and minimising what you pay for grid electricity.
-
Premium design
Andersen
Designed to look like a piece of furniture rather than an electrical box on the wall. Available in a range of finishes including wood effect and painted options, they are popular with homeowners who want their charger to complement the appearance of their property.
-
Smart tariffs
OHME
Integrates directly with smart electricity tariffs (like Octopus Go and Intelligent Octopus) to automatically charge your car during the cheapest overnight rate. If you are on a time-of-use tariff, the OHME will typically save you the most money.

Choosing your charger
Tethered vs untethered: which should I choose?
-
Tethered
Cable permanently attached
You pull the cable out, plug it into your car, and start charging. The advantage is convenience: the cable is always there and ready. The disadvantage is aesthetics; a thick cable hanging on the side of your house can look untidy, and you need to coil it back up after each charge.
-
Untethered
Type 2 socket on the front
You use a separate Type 2 charging cable, which you connect between the charger and your car. The advantage is a neater look on the wall when not in use, and flexibility: the same charger works with any Type 2 vehicle. The disadvantage is that you need to get the cable out of the boot each time.
-
Most customers choose tethered
Our advice
Most of our customers choose tethered for convenience, but if aesthetics are a priority or you have two EVs with different connector types, untethered may be better.
Workplace charging
If you run a business and want to provide EV charging for employees or customers, we install commercial charging points too. Workplace installations typically involve multiple charge points, load management to prevent overloading the building's supply, and sometimes metering to track usage.
We can also advise on the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) grant, which provides funding towards the cost of installing EV charge points at commercial premises.
