Electrical Installation for Office Fit-Outs

Moving into a new office, refurbishing an existing space, or reconfiguring your layout all require electrical work. Getting the electrics right at the fit-out stage is always more cost-effective than retrofitting later, adding circuits, moving sockets, and running cables through finished walls and ceilings costs significantly more once the decorators have been and gone.

We work with landlords, tenants, architects, and fit-out contractors to deliver the electrical element of commercial fit-outs on time and within budget. We can work from your designer's specification or produce our own electrical layout from a floor plan and brief.

What We Cover

• Power distribution – main distribution board, sub-distribution boards for large spaces, floor boxes, perimeter trunking, desk power modules, and dedicated circuits for server rooms and kitchen equipment
• Data cabling – Cat6/Cat6a structured cabling, comms cabinet setup, patch panels, WiFi access point cabling, and cable certification
• Lighting – LED panel installation, emergency lighting to BS 5266, feature lighting, meeting room scene lighting, and external signage lighting
• Fire alarm systems – design, installation, and commissioning to BS 5839. We can install new systems or extend existing ones to cover the new layout.
• Access control – door entry systems, magnetic lock wiring, keypad entry, intercom systems, and integration with existing building access control
• Small power – socket circuits positioned to match your desk layout, under-desk power modules, kitchen circuits for commercial appliances, and dedicated supplies for equipment with specific power requirements
• Testing and certification – full Electrical Installation Certificate for the completed work, plus emergency lighting and fire alarm commissioning certificates

Working With Your Fit-Out Team

In a fit-out project, the electrical work interleaves with every other trade. We coordinate closely with your builder, plasterer, decorator, and data/AV contractors to ensure the work happens in the right sequence.

Our first fix (cabling and back boxes) goes in before plastering, our second fix (fittings and final connections) goes in after decorating, and our testing and certification happen at the end.

We provide a detailed programme at the start showing when we need access and how long each phase will take, so the overall project schedule stays on track.
