Solar PV panels convert sunlight into electricity you can use in your home – reducing what you buy from the grid and cutting your energy bills. Hampshire and Surrey receive an average of 1,200–1,400 hours of sunshine per year, which is enough to make solar a worthwhile investment for most south-facing, east-facing, or west-facing roofs.
We are MCS certified, which is required for your installation to qualify for the Smart Export Guarantee – the scheme that pays you for surplus electricity you export back to the grid. MCS certification also means the installation meets quality standards and has been carried out by an accredited installer.

What we install
Solar systems for every roof
-
System sizes
We design each system around your roof, your usage and your budget.
- 3kW (8 panels): suits smaller homes, approx. 2,400–2,800 kWh a year
- 4kW (10–11 panels): the most popular size for 3–4 bedroom homes, 3,200–3,800 kWh a year
- 6kW+ (15+ panels): larger homes or those adding an EV charger or heat pump, 4,800+ kWh a year
-
Battery storage
Without a battery, surplus solar electricity is exported at a low rate (typically 4–6p per kWh). A battery stores it so you can use it in the evening when you would otherwise buy from the grid at 24–30p per kWh. This increases self-consumption from 30–40% to 60–80%. We install GivEnergy, Tesla Powerwall, and Fox ESS battery systems.
-
Solar and EV charging
If you have an EV or are considering one, solar and EV charging make an excellent combination. A Zappi charger can automatically use your surplus solar generation to charge your car during the day: free electricity from your roof rather than buying it from the grid.
Free roof survey
Is your roof suitable?
We assess suitability during a free roof survey. See our pricing page for current system costs.
- South-facing at 30–40 degrees is ideal
- East and west-facing roofs generate roughly 80–85% of a south-facing equivalent
- North-facing is not recommended
- The survey covers orientation, pitch, shading, and structural condition
